Pug love for a good cause
Twenty one pug dogs customized exclusively for Luisa Via Roma by a selection of the most prominent international luxury fashion designers, will be featured in a charity auction on eBay in the month of April for UNICEF. If you can’t afford a real pug, don’t bother trying to buy one of these stuffed ones as the bids climb well over $1000. If you want to support the cause but you aren’t ready to commit to the hefty price tags, you can purchase a commemorative totebag for under $200.
Some of our favorite designs are shown below:

A special, understated stuffed toy, Valentino’s creation is inspired by the brands Rockstudded pieces that have become international front row favourites.
Using signature Versace studs, the stuffed dog is adorned in the Italian label’s glamorous style with biker infused edge.
The world of Missoni is represented in this creation by Teresa Maccapani Missoni. This soft toy dog wears a multicolor jumpsuit in loop stitch creating a soft and warm mantle that makes the dog looks like a sheep.

Vogue Italia has created the pug together with Ludovica Virga. It’s a rock and trendy pug: his favorite thing to do is sleep on the Vogue Italia issue of the month. His collars are exclusively Chanel; vintage. His hats are only by Maison Michelle. Even though he still doesn’t have a name, he already loves children, especially those in Bangladesh, for whom he will strut down the runway.
Take head designer Anna Molinari’s sense of spontaneity and fun, mix it with Blumarine’s three dimensional floral print for Spring/Summer and you get a very special one of a kind stuffed toy that is bursting with bright colours and energy.
