The legendary Scamper passes at age 35

Anyone who has even the slightest interest in the sport of barrel racing is familiar with Charmayne James and her legendary mount Gills Bay Boy AKA “Scamper.”  This duo raced through the barrels for over a decade to win an incredible 10 world championships and an earnings of well over $1 million.  On July 4, 2012, this talented gelding was laid to rest at James’ ranch in Boerne, TX.
