Conducting a Fecal Egg Count

Here are the easy steps to collect a sample of manure for your vet to perform a Fecal Egg Count (FEC).  This is a great non-invasive way to test for ‘worms’ in your horse.  It not only tests if parasites are present but it also identifies the type so your treatment can be more effect and less harmful to the overall health of your horse.
