by DePaolo Equine Concepts

We’re very sorry there have been no posts lately.  We’ve been busy getting ready for autumn and stocking the shelves for our Cyber Monday coupon code to be in effect in just a few short weeks.  So to stick with the theme of online shopping why don’t we give you a  short rundown of each product on our website.  Don’t forget they are all formulated by a veterinarian and all natural to provide the best quality supplements for your horse! Chaste Tree Berry Powder –  Naturally aids in pituitary health.  The product supports a healthy endocrine system, promotes healthy pituitary function and is safe for long term use.  It can also be used in conjunction with other treatment protocols for endocrine disorders. Colloidal Silver –   This liquid is recommended for horses suffering from EPM, West Nile Virus, Lyme Disease, EHV-1, vaccinosis and any other bacterial or viral infection.  It may also be used topically for wounds. Colloidal Silver may be used in conjunction with other types of therapies, including antibiotics, prescribed by your veterinarian. It does not interact or interfere with any medications. Essential – A complete vitamin and mineral supplement formulated by a veterinarian to address the fundamental nutritional requirements your horse needs to attain optimal health. It is filled with essential ingredients such as L-Lysine, Biotin, Sulfur, Methionine, Brewer’s Yeast, Cobalt, Organic Selenium, Zinc and Vitamins A, B, D & E. Excel – Nearly 90% of performance horses have and suffer from gastrointestinal ulceration.  Excel helps to soothe the entire digestive system (esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines and the colon), which aides in lessening the discomforts of digestive issues. You can use a quick palpation test to help you determine if your horse has digestive tract sensitivity. Harmony –  When Chaste Tree Berry Powder isn’t enough, some turn to Harmony.  This is is a powerful all-natural supplement designed to promote a healthy metabolism and Endocrine System.  Harmony™ is formulated to promote healthy body function in horses dealing with the negative side effects associated with Endocrine, Metabolic, and Cushing Syndromes, as well as Insulin Resistance and Hypothyroidism. To support these horses, Harmony™ is designed to aid in the maintenance of the thyroid and adrenal glands. Horse Hair Analysis –  This cutting edge lab test and customized analysis report is a revolutionary way to customize your horse’s nutrition.  Many issues faced by horse owners can be explained with Horse Hair Analysis®. Mineral deficiencies may show up as Cushings, ulcers, chronic body soreness, low energy, tying up, tendon/ligament issues, abnormal heat cycles, and decreased performance. On the other hand, metal toxicities are commonly expressed as allergies, laminitis, nervousness, vaccine reactions and neurologic disorders. HHA Personal Supplement –  After you have received your Horse Hair Analysis® results, the next step is to purchase the customized supplement based on the lab findings.  The HHA Personal Supplement™ will assist in bringing the deficient levels of vitamins and minerals into a healthier range.  If toxic levels of heavy metals have been identified, chelating (detoxifying) ingredients will be included in your customized supplement. HyalONE –  Formulated by a veterinarian to provide a proper equine dose of Hyaluronic Acid to promote overall joint health, this unique formula of 250 mg per dose may significantly help in the lubrication and maintenance of healthy cartilage and connective tissue.  Hyaluronic Acid acts as a cushioning and lubricating agent against mechanical and chemical damage. It plays an important role in tissue hydration, maintaining and regulating moisture and tissue lubrication. Hyaluronic acid is a major component of normal synovial fluid. Lysine –  Grains and grasses are considered inadequate sources of Lysine.  Supplementing the immune system with Lysine can be very beneficial to optimal health and performance. This proactive approach will help your horse when exposed to EHV, Strangles, Rhino, West Nile, Lyme Disease and other infectious illnesses while under stress.  Using L-Lysine supplementation at times of stress is key to calcium absorption, building muscle protein, boosting the immune system and supporting the body’s production of hormones, enzymes, antibodies. DEC Neurologic Kit – This is a completely holistic treatment that can be used in conjunction with other types of treatment prescribed by your veterinarian.  The Neurologic Kit consists of three key supplements designed to promote optimum health. The cornerstone of the Kit is Colloidal Silver, which has been associated with infection fighting and tissue healing. The second piece of the Kit is a powerful immune booster, ABC’s  Chvel. It promotes proper digestion, supports the immune system, and encourages normal immune response to allergens.  The third nutraceutical in the Kit is ABC’s EPM Supplement. It is formulated with Vitamin E and Choline, to encourage proper neurologic function. Tranquility –  The active ingredients in Tranquility encourage the brain to boost levels of serotonin in order to promote a feeling of wellbeing and calm in some horses. Tranquility™ supports mental focus during training and competition. This may help the horse to concentrate on the task at hand rather than be distracted by outside factors. When high levels of performance are critical, these natural ingredients may assist your horse in maintaining a natural, healthy, and willing attitude.
