Covering The Map

by DePaolo Equine Concepts

The end of April is going to be busy for Dr. Mark! He travels to Scottsdale, Arizona to work for clients at the Region 7 Arabian Show. He is looking forward to getting out of the rain for a couple of days and working on a bunch of nice horses. We wish all of our trainers and their clients the best of luck!

Main Stage Night 3

He will then come back to Texas to work at the Mayfest Arabian Show in Ft. Worth for 2 days. It sounds like the show will be big this year, and it is always a lot of fun. If exhibitors don’t want to be at the Will Rogers Coliseum the entire time, they can venture off and enjoy all that the Mayfest Festival has to offer. There are multiple stages for music and dance performances, carnival rides, food contests, a petting zoo, face painting, an obstacle course and 1 mile up to a 10K run on Saturday morning. You can find out more at: https://www.mayfest.org/.

Dr. Mark will finish out the month in Utah, at the Veterinary Summit Conference. This continuing education opportunity focuses on Natural Solutions and Integrative Practices. Dr. Mark is required to submit 20 CE hours EACH year to maintain his licenses in the states he works in. At this conference, he will have the opportunity to receive 12 hours of CE, and in particular is interested in attending lectures on:

  • The Science Behind Vaccine and Titre Testing Protocols
  • Integrative Therapies For Serious Illnesses and Injuries
  • Successful Rehabilitation with EHV-1, West Nile & Other Difficult Diagnoses
  • Interesting Case Report with Horses
