Dr. Mark is in the midst of working at the US National Arabian Horse Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  The show runs from October 19th-27th with classes ranging from Country Pleasure to the Costume Class which is always a crowd pleaser.  Dr. Mark treats dozens of horses at the show to keep them in tiptop shape.  He tries to ease their pain from traveling and showing with

Dr. Mark Is Quick On The Draw

Dr. Mark was surprised by his wife Jacqui last week with the a very special and unique gift…A shooting seminar from a few world renowned professional firearms instructors.  On Friday afternoon and evening Dr. Mark participated in a long distance shooting class taught by Chee Kwan and Tim Trefren  from The History Channels television show Top Shot.

Horse season is in full swing!  Dr. Mark has been traveling the country to help horses show better by administering Acupuncture and Chiropractic treatments.  Two weeks ago Dr. Mark finished up a busy show at the Region 9 Arabian Show in Fort Worth, TX.  Then he travelled to Region 4 in Nampa, ID.  Now he is busy working away at Region 14 at the famed

Last week Dr. Mark spent 3 days shooting a video on Horse Hair Analysis.  We flew in a crew from Southern California and had the great pleasure of being able to film at The Brass Ring, Valor Farms and Bud Lyon Performance Horses.

Diagnosing Ulcers In Your Horse

Yesterday, we had a long (and VERY productive) day shooting an instructional video on diagnosing ulcers.  Gastro-intestinal erosions are the single most preventable syndrome that Dr. Mark treats in his practice today.  By learning to find and palpate certain acupuncture points closely associated with digestion, you will be able to discover when your horse is suffering from health and performance robbing ulcers.  Our diagnostic video will be out next month so stay tuned!

We always enjoy heading to Arizona each February for the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show. We feel so privileged to work on so many talented horses and Dr. Mark takes pride in being able to help these fine horses make it to the winners circle at such as top notch show!

In March Dr. Mark is going to start an on line question & answer series where you can write in questions and he will pick a few each week and answer them by video.  The questions can be submitted via email to info@depaoloequineconcepts.com or be posted on the DEC Company Facebook page.  We get so many great questions from owners striving to improve their horse’s well-being and we thought this would be a great way to allow all proactive owners, trainers and agents to ask questions and gain knowledge.

CONGRATULATIONS to client Emilie Veillette and SV Pass Em Fire on WINNING the 1st go of the Juvenile Futurity yesterday at the BFA World Championships! Out of 339 entires, Emilie’s time of 15.733 was unbeatable! Oh Canada!
