Paying A Visit To Faith Equine

Dr. Mark will be traveling to Faith Equine in Snohomish, Washington in May. Mark & Karen Plumlee operate Mission Farrier School out of their beautiful facility. The 8 week horseshoeing course is “dedicated to offering a common sense approach to maintenance of the equine hoof, drawing on Natural Balance principles, traditional craftsmanship, and the increasingly improved technology available in the farrier industry today.”

 

Both Mark & Karen are passionate about their hobby, Mounted Shooting. They travel all over the Pacific Northwest to compete and stay sharp for their big events in Arizona and Texas. Mark is a skilled leather worker, and he makes ‘Pistol Packin Pouches’ for shooters, as well as saddles.

 

 

They also host Natural Horsemanship clinics at their place. Most recently, Jon Ensign had two back to back clinics – one for Colt Starting, and the next for Advanced Horsemanship.

During the Fall and Winter, they love cheering for the Seattle Seahawks. This is a long standing interest since Karen was a Sea Gal a few years ago!
